This popped up on my FB memories today.
I want to say this was part of a series of poems I wrote in highschool after taking a class with one of my favorite teachers ever Mr. Byron David Jones, may he rest in peace.
He encouraged my writing in a very constructive way. I don't know why I stopped writing, but I have rekindled a flame for wordsmithing. I might share more 20 yr old poems soon.
